transmitting stations involves lengthy and troublesome

procedure. In some Colonial Ordinances provision is

made to the effect that no person (without a licence)

shall offer for sale, sell or have in his possession

with a view to sale, wireless telegraphy apparatus and

material.

Provision has also been made to the effect

that any person who is in possession of wireless telegraphy

apparatus capable of transmitting or receiving wireless

signals shall be deemed, until the contrary is proved,

to have worked the same. Similar provisions might be

suitable at Hong Kong.

5. As regards interference with radio reception, the

position in this country is somewhat difficult; and

Parliamentary sanction would have been sought for a clause

in somewhat the following terms if the Wireless Telegraphy

and Signalling Bill of 1925 had not been withdrawn owing

to pressure on Parliamentary time:-
